PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
CENTRE DE RECHERCHE INSULAIRE ET OBSERVATOIRE DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT (CRIOBE)
2023 – PRESENT: In this project, I combine functional ecology and evolutionary quantitative genetics to test the hypothesis that coral-dwelling fish have the ability to adapt to coral reef habitat degradation and maintain their key function.

SKILLS
SPECIFIC SKILLS
GEOMETRIC MORPHOMETRY
I employed this method that use landmark and semi-landmark coordinates to analyze shape differences, effectively capturing variations in morphology. This approach enabled me to compare body shape changes during fish metamorphosis across various experimental scenarios, including pesticide exposure, differing rearing environments, and spatial location influences.
FISH BIOLOGY
I have extensive experience working with fish as research models, from species identification (coral reef and Mediterranean fish) to wild capture and rearing. Additionally, I have participated in numerous fish capture missions. My expertise includes performing over 500 dissections across 30 species of Mediterranean and reef fish, which has provided me with a deep understanding of fish anatomy.
